Monica Brown graduated from Northeastern University in Boston and holds a Bachelors degree in Cardiopulmonary Science, as well as a degree in Nursing. She spent time as a traveling medical professional and traversed the US spending 3-6 months in various hospitals throughout the states, which even included stints on St. Thomas, USVI.
While seeing our beautiful country was an amazing opportunity, the time came to place roots back in New England. She grew up in Seekonk, MA, but fell in love with Newport while on assignment at Newport Hospital. After many years of renting in Newport, she decided to buy her first home with the help of Libby’s own realtors!
Her Italian Greyhound puppy gave his approval on the cottage with the fenced in yard! Monica’s transition into real estate was a simple one. The excitement of purchasing her first home and her natural inclination for helping people – lead her to obtain her real estate license.
Dealing first hand with the frustrations of relocating every few months she became expert at securing rentals and has put those skills to work for her real estate clients. Working so many different shifts over the years, Monica understands the needs of clients with unusual schedules and is very flexible!
Late afternoon or evening showings? No problem! She is also excited to work with first time home buyers.
